JC209 - Contracts ManagerLocation – HayesSalary – £Competitive DOEOverview:First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their team in Hayes, Middlesex.The successful individual will be responsible for a leading client of my client's business. My client carries out cleaning, gardening and and more based on a standard specification at some 500 sites of theirs, ranging from single blocks to multi block sites. The stock is a combination of high and mid-level lease holds, as well as social housing and key worker properties.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gain a working knowledge of the approx 500 estates.
- Site meetings with residents where issues have been raised.
- Liaise with staff at all levels.
- Site meetings with various Housing Officers to review site specific issues.
- Discuss and put forward suggestions of improving the various sites and the issues that are being raised.
- Site meetings with Environmental Services Manager to look at new build developments.
- Discuss and put forward suggestions of how the new property should be finished in terms of specification so as to enable easy ongoing maintenance.
- Provide quotations for cleaning, gardening and window cleaning for new build developments.
- Quarterly meetings at Client Head Office with the Head of Environmental Services to review our performance statistics.
- Liaise with the Cleaning, Gardening and Window Cleaning Managers in terms of issues found on site and ways of developing and improving the sites in the long term.
- Deal with incoming client calls, complaints and requests etc.
- Keep active client dialogue to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Provide clients with feedback on a regular basis and build the relationship at all levels.
- Deal with incoming e mails relating to the Contract.
- Look for revenue generating opportunities.
- Prepare quotations for one off works.
- Organise invoicing of one off works.
- Liaise with the office team on an ongoing basis as to developments with the Contract.
- Establish and maintain the overall client relationship by acting as the single point of contact for all contractual matters.
- Manage record keeping for all the contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Provide contract-related issue resolution at all levels across the contract.
- Assist in preparation of contract renewal/re-tender where we hope to not only retain our existing stock, but to win additional geographic areas.
Skills and Experience:
- Preferably educated to degree level/A level.
- Period of employment in either the private or social sector for property maintenance or if not, then a role within a business that is people and customer service focused.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer satisfaction led approach to all that you do.
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
- Task juggling skills as no two days will be the same.
- Professional and positive approach and outlook.
- A background in not only creating social value, but measuring the impact this had on individuals and communities.
- Desire to be part of a team – but with the confidence to make the final call.
- A full clean driving license.
