An excellent opportunity has emerged for a full-time, experienced Conveyancer to join their thriving company; location can be discussed with the ideal candidate. The Role:You will manage a varied residential property caseload, dealing with all aspects of the conveyancing transaction from instruction through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesYou must be able to:
- Manage your own varied conveyancing caseload whilst managing Client expectation and meeting deadlines.
- Provide clients with relevant legal advice and record all advice clearly.
- Take instructions and draft the necessary legal documents including but not limited to contracts, riders, Transfer Deeds, Declarations of Trust and Statutory Declarations.
- Proactively deal with the other stakeholders to the transactions
- Deal with enquiries that may be complex in nature, advise and respond in an appropriate manner and timeframe.
- Be alert to potential risks and resolve or raise as appropriate
- Bill correctly for the work undertaken.
- Provide supervision, support and coaching to your team.
- Maintain a culture of teamwork and high performance with a strong focus on customer care.
Person SpecificationYou must have:
- At least 3+ years’ experience managing a residential caseload from inception to completion
- Have experience in New Build transactions
- Commercial awareness, keeping up to date with business and industry news
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be flexible and empathetic to deliver client needs
- A can-do attitude
- The confidence to ask questions if in doubt.
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience with the Building Safety Act 2022
- Experience in acting for Corporate Purchasers.
