Conveyancer - Residential Property

Location: Lichfield

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are working with a CQS-accredited, well-established law firm, who are looking to attract an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join their lovely office in the centre of Lichfield. Free parking is available on site. 

The role would suit a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive or licenced conveyancer, or a paralegal with residential conveyancing fee earning experience. 

The role involves:

• Working along side one other solicitor/conveyancing fee earner, supported by a legal  assistant
• Running your  own wide-ranging caseload of residential conveyancing matters including
  • sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
  • transfer of equity
  • re-mortgages
  • second charges
  • land purchases
  • new build homes
  • part-exchanged properties
  • equity release
  • auction sales
  • buy to let investments
  • tenancy agreements
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third party professionals

Suitable candidates will have:

• Sound experience of running your own residential conveyancing caseload
• A sound understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
• Excellent communication skills

This is a full time permanent job
