Job Title: Solicitor or Legal Executive - Conveyancing Department

Location: Wallington, Surrey

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £35,000 - £60,000

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join our Conveyancing Department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions, providing expert legal services and advice.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Handle sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Manage re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
• Deal with new build purchases and shared ownership schemes.
• Conduct title checks and searches.
• Draft and review contracts and other legal documents.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
• Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with experience in conveyancing.
• Proven experience in handling residential and commercial property transactions.
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
