The Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or experienced Residential / Commercial Conveyancer.
  • Ideally newly qualified / PQE 1 - 3.
  • Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently.
  • Proficiency in conveyancing and legal management software is an advantage.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

The Responsibilities

As a Residential / Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor, you will:

  • Title Searches: Conduct detailed title investigations for commercial and residential properties.
  • Drafting and Reviewing Documents: Prepare and review contracts, leases, deeds, and agreements for both commercial and residential transactions.
  • Due Diligence: Perform due diligence on properties, identifying potential risks and advising clients on solutions.
  • Client Advisory Services: Provide expert legal advice, guiding clients through property transactions.
  • Transaction Management: Oversee the full transaction process, ensuring timely and compliant completion.
  • Legal Research: Stay updated on property law developments and apply insights to support your cases.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with estate agents, surveyors, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Land Registry Applications: Submit and manage Land Registry applications for property registrations.
  • Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve disputes related to property matters through negotiation or legal action.
  • Compliance: Ensure full adherence to laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed and satisfied.
  • Risk Mitigation: Assess potential legal risks in transactions and advise clients on mitigation strategies.
  • Mixed Caseload Management: Manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential conveyancing matters effectively.
