Day-to-day of the role:
- Play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, working alongside other partners and senior solicitors on complex transactions, and independently managing transactions where suitable.
- Support asset purchase and sale transactions by drafting ancillary documents and facilitating progress throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Assist with business disposals by completing due diligence responses and preparing supporting documentation.
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence.
- Oversee the due diligence process for clients, including reviewing share purchase agreements, drafting disclosure letters, and preparing related documents.
- Handle both completion and post-completion matters.
- Engage in a broad range of corporate legal work, including drafting articles of association and shareholders’ agreements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong technical drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven experience in corporate and commercial law.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles to real-world scenarios.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
