Corporate and Commercial Solicitor - Reed : Job Details

Are you a talented and ambitious solicitor looking to make a significant impact? We are working in partnership with a leading national firm, seeking a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to become a key player for their Midlands Team. This role offers high levels of autonomy and the opportunity to collaborate closely with teams across the region.

Location: Flexible across their Midlands offices Salary: DOE 

The role:

•    Provide high-quality, tailored advice on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers, sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, management buy-outs, equity financing, and commercial contracts.

•    Handle compliance, due diligence, drafting, and negotiating transactional documents, as well as managing all post-completion regulatory and other matters.

•    Build and manage strong client relationships.

•    Collaborate with other departments within the firm.

•    Play a significant role in business development.

What We're Looking For:

•    A qualified solicitor with 5+ years of PQE in corporate/commercial law.

•    A client following is desirable, along with the ability to build a caseload.

•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments/offices.

•    Strong technical skills and knowledge of commercial contracts.

•    Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

•    Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.

•    Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.

•    Strong work ethic, communication, and interpersonal skills.

•    IT literate and confident in learning new processes.
