About the RoleThe Corporate team is dedicated to advising a diverse range of clients, from innovative start-ups to major multinational corporations. Our client specialises in safeguarding their clients' interests across various sectors, including technology, retail, manufacturing, and banking and finance. Much of the work involves a global perspective, assisting clients with their entry and expansion strategies in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring prompt and thorough handling of cases and transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality legal advice, maintaining excellent client service standards.
• Oversee a variety of transactional projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Engage directly with clients to take instructions and provide tailored solutions.
• Prepare documentation in collaboration with partners to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Scope and price work accurately, with partner guidance.
• Build and nurture client relationships alongside partners and senior lawyers.
• Establish your profile as a recognised Corporate lawyer within the community.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, fostering a network of clients and contacts.
• Attend networking events to enhance connections and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Participate in team pitches and presentations as necessary.
• Maintain diligent time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing practises.
• Work towards personal and team KPIs, measuring performance consistently.
• Align personal objectives with the department's strategic goals.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes

• Qualified Solicitor with relevant experience in a corporate team.
• Strong project management and client service skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
