Dartmouth Partners are delighted to be supporting a growing PE firm to find a Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reporting and accounting functions for the firm, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the firm and its portfolio entities.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Manage the accounting team and work closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure the firm’s financial statements are accurate and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Ensure the proper implementation and execution of internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies’ finance teams to support operational improvements and financial best practices.
- Oversee cash management, including forecasting and liquidity management.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and tax compliance for the firm and its portfolio entities.
- Maintain a high level of understanding of industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting the firm and its investments.
Qualifications:
- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA etc.)
- Ideally 3-6 years PQE.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS, consolidations, and financial reporting.
- Fund Accounting experience desirable.
