Corporate Associate Solicitor - OxfordPQE: 3 years+Term: PermanentWorking hours: Full-timeLocation: OxfordA leading law firm in Oxford is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate Solicitor to join its prestigious Corporate team. The firm advises a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurial start-ups to international businesses, across various sectors, including technology, retail, manufacturing, and banking & finance. Many of the firm's matters involve international elements, with a particular focus on advising clients entering or expanding into the UK market.Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of corporate matters, providing high-quality legal advice on various transactional projects.
  • Collaborating with senior lawyers to deliver commercially astute solutions and maintain excellent client service.
  • Directly handling client instructions and effectively managing client expectations.
  • Scoping, pricing, and managing work with partner support and supervision.
  • Contributing to business development efforts, including attending networking events and developing a strong client base.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and fostering internal collaboration to increase cross-referred work.
  • Consistently recording time, monitoring WIP, and billing on matters.
  • Supporting the development of the department's strategic goals and working toward personal and team KPIs.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years of experience in corporate law.
  • Strong client management and project management skills.
  • Well-organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proactive in business development and relationship-building.
