Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in a top 35 Accountancy Practice based in London! We are working closely with our client to further expand their increasingly growing corporation tax team who are looking for an assistant manager to manage a portfolio of OMBs, NRLs, investment, and listed companies.Their London office is based within central London, close to the tube station.Benefits

Responsibilities and DutiesAs a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing your compliance portfolio, assisting both senior managers and directors in managing their work. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Computing corporation tax returns and ensuring they are filed with accuracy and on time as well as calculating tax liabilities
• Acting as the direct contact for clients alongside partners
• Preparing tax accounting schedules for the inclusion within the statutory accounts
• Monitor junior staff performance and provide essential feedback as well as tend to their necessary training requirements
• Supporting managers, senior managers, directors and partners on advisory projects
• Working on ad-hoc technical research tasks when required

RequirementsCandidates will need to be fully ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent, with solid knowledge of corporation tax compliance and understanding of advisory work.Additional requirements include:

• Experience in managing a client portfolio of up to 100-150 clients
• Knowledge of technical areas ranging from share schemes, R&D, CIR, capital allowances etc.
• Understanding of advisory work and potential tax issues which clients may face
• Experience in reviewing junior work and providing feedback as well as on-the-job training
• Keenness to develop and grow and show enthusiasm within the business
