I am working on behalf of a highly regarded UK Top 60 law firm, well-known for its Tier 1 Corporate Tax team, which provides innovative and effective solutions to clients across a diverse range of sectors. This leading firm, with a significant reputation, advises large corporates and their shareholders, funds and financial institutions, real estate investors, developers, as well as Government and public sector bodies.This is an exceptional opportunity to join a thriving corporate tax team, where you will benefit from working on a varied and complex workload. The team is particularly noted for its expertise in tax and structuring advice on inbound investments, financing transactions, fund investments, real estate deals, corporate M&A, restructurings, and shareholder/investor taxation.The Role: You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tax advice while gaining exposure to a broad range of complex transactions. As an Associate (5+ PQE), you will not only provide exceptional client service but also actively support and develop junior colleagues, enabling them to flourish in their roles.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing matters effectively to deliver results aligned with the firm’s objectives.
  • Contributing to the firm’s business development initiatives by identifying and addressing client needs, managing relationships, and driving sustainable growth.
  • Actively participating in cultural initiatives to help build a vibrant, inclusive workplace.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience in corporate tax matters, ideally gained within a leading law firm.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a complex and varied workload with precision.
  • Self-motivated and keen to continuously learn and develop.
  • Experience leading and mentoring others.
  • You must be a qualified solicitor registered with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland.
