Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Manchester City Centre (Hybrid role 3 days WFH, 2 days office per week)

£65,000 - £75,000 Basic

Full time (part time considered)

80% Tax Compliance, 20% Tax Advisory

TRIP are delighted to be working with a top 10 global accounting firm that specialise in Audit, Tax and Consulting services and are searching for a brand new Senior Manager role based out of their Manchester City Centre offices.

Duties and responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving corporation tax computations and tax accounting, as well as undertaking some tax assurance reviews.  Involved in ad-hoc advisory work that flows from your client base. 
• Negotiating and raising timetables and fees and being responsible for WIP management on your portfolio of clients. 
• Being an active member of the national Tax Team, ensure national procedures are rolled out and fully adopted in Manchester.
• Tax compliance work will represent at least 50% of this role but there is flexibility to mix this with advisory work for up to 50% of the role for the right candidate.

Skills and qualifications

• Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual Tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Willingness to take on leadership roles both within Manchester and across the wider Tax team.
• Responsible for assisting the development of more junior staff through coaching.
• CTA or equivalent qualified
