Cover Supervisor

Location: Oldham OL8

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is keen to support their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and on task.

Manage student behaviour and ensure a positive and safe learning environment.

Assist with administrative tasks and support the school's daily operations.

Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.

Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Desirable:

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role.

Knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
