Cover Supervisor - Reed : Job Details

Role: Cover Supervisor 

Location: Kettering 

Start Date: January 2025 

Pay: £100 -£150 per day 

REED are currently working with a secondary school based outside of Kettering, supporting them recruit a full time cover supervisor to start form January 2025.

About the Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will:· Classroom Management: Oversee students, maintain discipline, and ensure a calm learning environment.· Following Lesson Plans: Implement the work set by the absent teacher, making sure students are working on the tasks assigned.· Providing Support: Assist students with understanding the tasks, but not to the extent of teaching new concepts.· Ensuring Safety: Ensure a safe environment, handling minor behavioural issues and reporting any significant problems to senior staff.· Administrative Tasks: Mark attendance, distribute materials, and complete any necessary documentation related to the lesson.Requirements for a Cover Supervisor:· Strong organizational skills.· Classroom management abilities.· Good communication and interpersonal skills.· Patience and adaptability.· Strong Behavioural management.
