Cover Supervisor - Tradewind Recruitment : Job Details

Are you an enthusiastic individual with a passion for education? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a cover supervisor to work in a range of secondary schools in the Maidstone area. As a cover supervisor, you will play a vital role in nurturing the next generation. This is a full time ongoing position with a daily rate of between £90 and £110 a day depending on experience. We also welcome applications for anyone looking for part time.

The Role:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively across various subjects and year groups
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying classroom environments
• Previous experience within a classroom setting as a cover supervisor is desirable but not essential
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
