Are you a confident and adaptable supply teacher or cover supervisor with a passion for supporting secondary school students? A dynamic secondary school in Blackburn is seeking an experienced individual to provide high-quality classroom cover and ensure a positive learning environment for students.

About the Role:This full-time, long-term role will run until summer 2025, with the potential to extend into the next academic year. As a Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education, delivering pre-set lessons, and managing classroom behaviour effectively in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across various subjects and year groups.
• Maintain excellent classroom management to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Support students in their learning and address any queries as needed.
• Follow the school’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.
• Provide feedback to the teaching team on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience as a Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent behaviour management skills to create a productive learning environment.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
