About Us: REED work in partnership with secondary schools across Cambridgeshire, supporting them with both their planned and unplanned staff absences. 

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students during teacher absences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes and ensuring students remain on task with their learning activities.
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and managing classroom behavior.
• Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition during teacher absences.
• Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary school students is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings.
