Cover Supervisor - Reed : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our school in Perterborough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task with pre-set work.

Location: Peterborough

Hours: 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Pay: £13 - £14 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities.
• Take attendance and record student progress.
• Support extracurricular activities as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• A positive and proactive attitude.
