Cover Supervisor - Term Time Teachers : Job Details

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for supporting both students and teachers? We are looking for a Cover Supervisor interested in flexible work opportunities in the Tunbridge Wells area. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to manage classroom activities and ensure the smooth running of lessons in the absence of regular teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise students in the absence of their class teacher, ensuring a safe, focused, and productive environment.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities to students across different age groups.
• Manage classroom behaviour efficiently while supporting students' learning.
• Ensure all lesson materials and resources are organised and easily accessible.
• Provide constructive feedback on student progress.

Requirements:

• A degree is essential.
• Experience in education (previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is preferred).
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students while creating a positive and dynamic learning environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to various teaching styles and work with different year groups.
