The Role

As the Creative & Brand Manager, you will be responsible for upholding and developing SEVENSTORE’s vision and visual identity (as determined by the Buying Director) by delivering a holistic, cohesive and thematic approach business wide. You will oversee, maintain and develop SEVENSTORE’s overarching creative direction through all creative outputs ensuring a consistent visual language is upheld and protected.

You will report directly into the Head of Marketing & Production and the Buying Director, working in tangent to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. You will be responsible for all creative output from the Creative Department including internal projects, community driven partnerships and third-party brand. The role itself demands a range of responsibilities including overseeing all creative outputs both visual and written, owning relationships with key department stakeholders, and collaborating with the Marketing and Ecommerce teams to ensure all projects are delivered in line with the brand vision. To be successful in this role, you should be a keen creative problem solver who champions collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for spearheading seasonal creative strategies
  • Drive community partnership conversations which is filtered into our overarching creative output across e-commerce, marketing and store
  • Management and delivery of content strategy in line with SEVENSTORE vison
  • Lead and inspire all creative sub departments
  • Contribute to the creative philosophy and elevation of the SEVENSTORE business through the Creative lens
  • Drive conceptual thinking and execution, ensuring consistency and brand elevation across all Creative channels
  • Continue to evolve and champion the creative vision, setting the expectation at the highest level to ensure creative direction is retained and in line with SEVENSTORE’s values
  • Actively reflect and review previous creative projects and approaches
  • Commission creative talent for various projects and manage external contacts including photographers, illustrators, animators, stylists and printers
  • Present high profile Creative solutions to key stakeholders
  • Working with the Head of Marketing & Production you will contribute to the development of all Creative and Studio team members, conducting ‘Check-ins’, setting goals, and striving for progression within the team
  • Ensure availability to offer guidance and constructive feedback across art direction and concept generation, pre and post-production to the Head of Marketing & Production
  • Actively engage and create external relationships with agencies, brand partnerships and collaborators to strengthen SEVENSTORE’s place within the creative space
  • Ensure SEVENSTORE is always championing best creative practise and innovation
  • Oversee multiple projects across creative and brand and ensure they are delivered in accordance with guidelines and deadlines

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years in a similar role / managing a creative department
  • Portfolio of work to document past creative projects (needed on application submission)
  • Extensive experience in content development
  • Strong technical ability, skilled as a senior creative with significant experience in leadership
  • Past experience from a premium brand or a creative agency background
  • Ability to deliver creative ideas with conviction to a range of stakeholders and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and remain calm under pressure
  • Exceptional experience in brand building and driving brand elevation
  • Knowledge and experience of working with creative teams
  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills, ability to multi-task effectively
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Expert knowledge of content platform current best practices, technologies and creative standards
  • Demonstrable experience of effectively coaching and developing team members
