Job Description :

RG Consultancy are working with an excellent professional services company based in Halifax, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join them on a full time permanent basis.

This role is an excellent role for a junior candidate looking to do an accounts role with the view to progress in the near future. You will join a large finance team of approximately 9 staff members and will report into the financial controller.

Duties include:

  • Collection of current and aged debtor via email, telephone and letter.
  • Allocate cash daily from bank accounts across (GBP/EU/USD)
  • Reconcile client ledgers
  • Liaising with solicitors and bailiffs
  • Run weekly debt reports for the team
  • Resolve disputes and deal with any queries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Other duties within finance; due to the nature of the business this will be a developing role and will assist with duties such as; bank reconciliations, accounts payable and sales ledger.
