Credit Team Leader
Annual Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

This role is pivotal in acting as a bridge and support person for the UKI Credit Manager, overseeing a small, independent team. The ideal candidate will be available for a handover period before and after the specified dates to ensure a smooth transition.
You will also assist to review and redesign the processes used, then map those out.
You will need to be happy to work with a decent degree of autonomy while supporting the credit manager and financial controller. This will also require you to use your business partnering skills, to extend beyond customer interactions, with evidence of effective stake holder management.

Day-to-day of the role:
Lead and support a team of three credit professionals, ensuring high levels of independence and efficiency.
Act as a key point of contact between the team and the UKI Credit Manager.
Oversee the management of credit control processes and ensure the team meets its objectives.
Monitor team performance, providing guidance and support where necessary.
Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments.
Manage any escalated credit issues and disputes.
Prepare reports and provide insights on credit control activities to the UKI Credit Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a credit control or team leader role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in financial reporting and credit control processes.
