Credit Control Team Leader - Wolseley : Job Details

Salary:

£28,000-£32,000 per annum + Bonus

As a Credit Control Team Leader based in our Ripon office (3 days a week, 2 days remote), you’ll be responsible for:

• Lead and manage direct reports to unlock debt and maximise cash collection performance and minimise risk, ensuring all team and individual Measures and KPI’s are met.

• Ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders to maximise cash receivables from credit sales.

• Drive change and continually review processes in cash collection and query management.

• Make decisions on team customer portfolio as appropriate and accordance with Departmental Limits of Authority.

• Being the 1st point of escalation within your team. Ensuring your line manager and wider business (as applicable) are advised immediately on any adverse risks identified.

• Being responsible for encouraging, developing and motivating team members.

• Previous credit control experience in a B2B background, with ability to manage and motivate a large team (up to 9 people).

• Ability to analyse data, proficient in Excel

• Ability to identify issues, problem solve independently or as part of a team, find and implement the solution.

• Strong communication, organisational and negotiation skills with stakeholders of all levels.

• Confident working to tight deadlines including demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to challenge and question existing processes and procedures with aim to drive continuous improvement.
