Credit Controller/Accounts Administrator | Full Time Permanent | North Wolverhampton| Upto £30,000 | Office Based

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator with strong Credit Control experience to join a supportive, friendly finance team in North Wolverhampton.

The Company

Seymour John are thrilled to be working exclusively with our client in North Wolverhampton, who are looking to strengthen their finance team with the appointment of an experienced Accounts Administrator, with strong Credit Control experience.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, your overall responsibilities will be to maintain effective control of the Sales Ledger in order to meet company collection targets and external customer service standards, and to account in an accurate and timely manner for sales, receipts, purchases, payments and other areas of responsibility.

Duties will include:

• Maintain customer/debtor accounts, check and post receipts / maintain archives
• Receivables management: carry out debt collection, chasing/dunning, creditworthiness checks, define credit limits with FD
• Prepare and provide data for various statistics
• Allocate and post creditor invoices, making payment / maintain archives
• Liaise with Stock Control/Procurement over invoices in query
• Chase missing invoices (by reference to supplier statement)
• Provide cover Petty Cash requirements
• Support other team members and cover jobs as requested
