Credit Controller

Our client, a prestigious Top 100 company in Suffolk, is looking for a Credit Controller to join their dynamic team at their new, modern office based in Bacton, Stowmarket.

Location:         Bacton, Stowmarket

Job type:          Permanent, full-time, office based

Salary:              Up to £30,000 per annum

Hours:              8:30-5pm

As a Credit Controller, you’ll oversee the company’s debtor function and enhance customer satisfaction. You’ll join a dynamic finance team committed to excellent service and strong client relationships. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll manage the sales ledger and communicate key metrics with department heads.

Main duties:

• Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts
• Following up on payment of debts as needed
• Negotiating re-payment plans
• Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customer’s credit rankings
• Responding to relevant client requests
• Processing invoices and credit notes
• Checking and posting receipts to accounting systems

Requirements:

• Work efficiently and accurately with attention to detail
• Have excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Office experience
• Sage 50 experience or similar
• Experience in Sales Ledger / Credit Control
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as a team player
• Right to work in the UK
