Credit Controller - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a business in Avonmouth on the recruitment of a Credit Controller to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge, or someone with a customer service/call centre background who is keen to transition into a more technical role.

The ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment, be a proactive and personable individual and hungry to be great at what they do.

Our client adopts a hybrid working model that would require you on site for 3 days per week, and 2 working from home. Please note that you will be required to be in the office for the initial 3-6 month probationary period for 5 days per week.

Responsibilities of the Credit Controller include but are not limited to:

• Chasing a large volume of customers, to collect debt for overdue amounts/held orders.
• Handle all incoming calls to the credit team, with a proactive and professional approach.
• Providing overdue reporting, and sales and general ledger analysis.
• Escalate any concerns around overdue debt, potential bad debt and high risk to the wider team.
• Managing all disputed invoices and queries.
• Continuously ensure compliance with the company's credit policy.

Your Profile:

• Prior experience either working in a high-volume credit control or customer service position is essential.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proactive attitude who works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident and clear communicator, able to manage relationships at all levels.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £27-30k dependent on experience plus benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday, annual performance related bonus, and more.
