Credit Controller - Totum : Job Details

Totum Partners are working with a leading law firm in Cardiff, recruiting for an Assistant Credit Controller, the ideal candidate will have some experience in finance in law, professional services or other corporate environment. Our client offers a hybrid working pattern 40% in the office, 60% from home. 

The ideal Assistant Credit Controller will be responsible for:

• Send client statements 
• Respond to client queries 
• Schedule and diarise debt meetings 
• Assist with monthly debt reports and file management 
• Update client contact details in the system 
• Add new clients to the collections panel weekly 
• Generate Excel reports for Credit Control 
• Attend weekly Credit Control meetings 
• Assist with debt chasing and external collections 
• Complete Proof of Debt forms and creditor questionnaires 
• Monitor and review credit limits 
• Support the Working Capital team with ad-hoc tasks

The ideal Assistant Credit Controller will have:

• Experience working in finance, accounts  or Credit Control
• Numerate, Organised, numerate, and detail-oriented..
• Flexible, team-oriented, and willing to pitch in where needed.
