Credit Controller - Reed : Job Details

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting a Credit Controller. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. You will be involved in a project to clear aged debt.

Location: Leeds City Centre (free-parking available and accessible by train)Salary: Up to £30k FTEJob Type: Full-Time, 9:00am-5:00pm (Office-based)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clear aged debt (roughly £1.5m)
• Reconcile accounts
• Chase debt by telephone and email
• Conduct meetings with tenants
• Liaise with tenant to discuss repayment plans
• Explain reasons for outstanding arrears/payments
• Make recommendations to write off bad debt
• Work closely with Fund & Property Managers to help them understand circumstances with tenants & non-payments

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experienced within Credit Control
• Can hit the ground running with minimal guidance/training
• Experience with reconciliations
• Experience with Tramps/Bluebox (desirable)
