Credit Controller - AFR Consulting : Job Details

Our client based in Preston are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy team. This company have grown at a phenomenal rate over the past 10 years and need experienced candidates to join their successful team.

Duties include:

• Building relationships with internal and external clients to ensure invoices are paid promptly and to agreed timescales
• Dealing with queries raised by customers
• Regular meetings and calls with the credit control manager and department heads to agree actions and responsibilities
• Daily maintenance of debtor’s ledge
• Issuing of monthly statements and reminder letters
• Cash management; maximising collections, arranging refunds, transferring, and reallocating
• Ensuring that the monthly client Stop list is noted in a timely and accurate manner
• General housekeeping duties

You must have previous credit control experience to be considered for this role. You need to be a confident and friendly communicator, have excellent time management skills and be able to work to strict deadlines.
