Credit Controller - Reed : Job Details

We are currently seeking a Multilingual Credit Controller to join our team on behalf of Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner. This temporary position is based in East Peckham and offers a skilled professional the opportunity to manage credit control functions in a multilingual environment.

• Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Communicate with clients in various languages to resolve outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans.
• Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
• Prepare weekly reports on account status and any issues that need addressing to the management team.
• Liaise with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes and queries efficiently and amicably.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding credit control and debt collection.

• Proven experience in a Credit Control role, with the ability to handle accounts in multiple languages.
• Fluency in at least two languages in addition to English is essential.
• Strong understanding of credit control procedures and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and financial software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate would need to be able to show experience obtained from a similar Credit Control role, be in commutable distance to our client in East Peckham, be able to work full time in our office, and be available to start work immediately.
