Credit Controller - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays are working exclusively with a dynamic business who are looking for a credit controller to join their team in Shrewsbury Your new roleYou will be working as part of a team and taking responsibility for your own part of the ledger, with duties including:

• Ensuring that daily credit control activities are completed on time
• Chasing overdue debts via phone, letter and email
• Processing payments accordingly
• Allocating payments to the correct accounts and facilitation of telephone credit card payments from customers.
• Resolving all issues and queries affecting outstanding debts.
• Liaison with internal Managers regarding accounts.
• Suspend credit facilities
• Assist with reports and adhere to reporting deadlines

What you'll need to succeedThe company are either looking for an experienced Credit controller, or an individual who has some accounts experience, or Customer service experience that is keen to build a career within Credit Control. You should have a good telephone manner, be able to build rapport and resolve problems and have good IT skills What you'll get in returnYou will be working within a professional and friendly team, who can offer support and training in Credit control.
