ROLE: Credit Controller
LOCATION: SwanleySALARY: £25k - £30k equivalentTHE COMPANY
This company who provide services to the construction industry are looking for a temporary Credit Controller to cover someone who is leaving and look into some historical accounts. This role will likely last until the end of January 2025.
THE JOB
- Processing sales invoices - Sage entry
- Sales and purchase ledger (including credit cards and expenses)
- Process purchase orders
- Process overtime, expenses and journey log sheets
- Credit control
- General accounts tasks
- Transport administration
- Various admin duties including but not limited to answering the telephones, diary bookings, report logging, filing, organising hotels and more
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
