Credit Documentation Officer - Banking

Excellent opportunity for intelligent and broadly skilled Credit Officer, we would like someone with minimum 2 years experience in facility documentation, with knowledge and experience of LMA facility documentation, including syndicated loans. 

  • Initiation, review and monitoring of documentation for Credit facilities
  • Timely and accurate submission of excess and periodic reporting
  • Maintenance and review of approved limits against exposures and ensuring static data is accurately reflected in the Branch systems
  • Tracking Facility compliance to approved terms and conditions
  • To prepare facility letters in accordance with approved credit proposals, credit reviews and documentation standards
  • To check documents prepared by other Credit Admin staff and external lawyers
  • To liaise with Facility Agents to complete documentation relating to participations in syndicated facilities.
  • To track documentation status and follow up outstanding documentation
  • To ensure all approvals and documentation is in order and prepare appropriate checklists to release facilities
  • To set up and maintain Credit and Security files
  • To maintain accurate facility limits and static data in the Branch systems
  • Initiation, review and monitoring of documentation for Credit facilities
  • Timely and accurate submission of excess and periodic reporting
  • Maintenance and review of approved limits against exposures and ensuring static data is accurately reflected in the Branch systems
  • Tracking Facility compliance to approved terms and conditions
  • Check valuation reports and insurance documents prior to facility initiation and on an annual basis
  • To prepare and/or check excess and periodic reports for Head office and London Branch Management in a timely and accurate manner as required.
  • To provide training to other staff on issues related to credit administration as and when required.
  • To assist other Credit Admin staff with safe custody of documentation required to be kept under dual control.
  • To assist with queries raised by the Internal and External Auditors during their inspection on the Branch and reply to their questions whenever necessary.
  • To update the Credit Admin Procedures Manual whenever necessary.
  • To act as alternate for other credit admin staff in their absence.
  • To undertake any other duties as designated by Head of Credit Admin and senior management.
