About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to join the Portfolio Analytics team within Retail Credit Risk.This role will take responsibility for the development of Management information to support the management of the Society’s Mortgage portfolio influencing both lending strategy and collections activity. It will also be expected to produce ad hoc analysis in a timely manner to support agile decision making.  Working closely with other areas of Credit Risk in particular the Credit Risk Strategy team, as well as with other areas of the business such as New Lending and Collections. Frequent collaboration and exposure to different areas of the business provides opportunity to develop a broad range of capabilities and knowledge over time.Daily activities involve:
  • Regularly producing accurate reports on the mortgage process and meet deadlines, including handling regulatory and external reports.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports to support credit risk strategies, such as changes in lending policy and arrears performance, while staying updated on credit risk trends and lending policy updates.
  • Develop your knowledge of Retail Credit Risk and reporting solutions and share your findings with team members and other stakeholders.
