Credit Underwriting Manager

• Managing various credit teams, including utilising SQL to analyse team performance and reporting this to senior management.
• Approving deals
• Setting pricing terms
• Assigning exposure limits and improving overall credit processes.
• Review and, where necessary, challenge policy changes.

Profile

Financial Services

• A minimum of 5 years experience leading underwriting/credit decision teams, ideally within a fintech environment.
• Able to work independently while also ensuring team success, balancing your own responsibilities with the management of your teams..
• Strong communicator with the ability to drive team performance and manage complex, demanding situations.
• Proficient in Excel and SQL, with some knowledge of Python being a plus.
