The crew compliance administrator will play an essential role in the team, providing internal operational and day-to-day client support at the Eastleigh site. You will provide a range of administrative duties including document management, ensuring compliance with relevant maritime conventions and liaising with Captains, Crew and Clients.

Description
The key responsibilities for the Crew Compliance Administrator are:
- Support the Senior HR & Compliance Manager in the day-to-day aspects of crew employment
- Monitoring of seafarer qualifications
- Ensure crew and vessels meet MLC employment requirements
- Provide administrative and compliance support with on boarding crew
- Regular monitoring and updating of yacht certifications
- Collect crew certificates and verify authenticity
- Upload crew certificates to the crew portal
- Receive and accurately file all mandatory certificates
- Maintenance of the internal crew portal
- Administrative support to the team in all areas of crew compliance relating to the employment and payroll of seafarers.
Profile
The successful candidate for the Crew Compliance Administrator is someone with the following:
The ideal candidate will have:
- MUST HAVE Experience within the maritime sector, particularly the Superyacht industry
- Knowledge of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC, 2006).
- An excellent communicator at all levels and the ability to liaise professionally with colleagues, Captains, Crew and Clients when required.
- High degree of attention, excellent administrative skills and capable of checking / recording information accurately
- Excellent command of the English language
- Proficiency in all Microsoft packages including word, excel, SharePoint, etc
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK
Desirable but not essential:
- Proficient in a second language such as French, Italian, or Spanish
- Previous experience in crew employment
