CRM MARKETING SPECIALIST

£35,000 to £45,000 BASIC (Negotiable)

Join a small, dynamic marketing team as a CRM Marketing Specialist,owning the company's CRM platforms.  This role is pivotal in enhancing CRM processes, maintaining data integrity and driving key initiatives such as lead nurturing, customer retention and upsell/cross-sell strategies.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Ownership:

  • Be the primary owner of the CRM and marketing automation platform, ensuring both platforms are set up to support business objectives.

Data Clean-Up and GDPR Compliance:

  • Implement data hygiene practices and ensure that the CRM system is fully GDPR-compliant, particularly around consent management, data retention and communication preferences.

Lead Nurturing and Funnel Management:

  • Develop and execute lead nurturing campaigns and automated workflows to effectively guide MQLs through the sales funnel.

Customer Upsell and Cross-Sell Campaigns:

  • Build a communication strategy within the CRM to ensure regular, automated updates and outreach to customers and channel partners.

Integration Between Sales and Marketing:

  • Optimize CRM processes and dashboards to facilitate smooth handoffs between marketing and sales.
  • Automate MQL-to-SQL notifications and monitor sales team activity within the CRM to ensure timely lead follow-ups.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Leverage Pardot analytics to measure the performance of email campaigns, lead nurturing efforts, and customer engagement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve CRM effectiveness.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years CRM management, ideally in B2B SaaS companies.  
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Pardot or HubSpot including automation, lead nurturing and reporting tools would be ideal.  Candidates with experience with any other CRMs, would also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR compliance and data privacy regulations.
  • Ability to bridge marketing and sales processes, ensuring smooth handoffs and follow-ups.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven campaign optimisation.
  • Degree in marketing, business, IT or a related field.
  • Worked in vehicle technology, fleet management or a related industry would be a bonus.
