PURPOSE OF ROLE12 month FTC – Maternity cover.We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic customer service professional for our client to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers, providing professional support and ensuring complete customer satisfaction with a view to improve our Net Promotor Score and meet our Customer Commitments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Resolve problems including but not limited to delivery queries, damages, returns and incorrect orders, whilst always maintaining a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers.
- Determine the root cause of issues and implement a solution that is best for the customer.
- Communicate with customers mainly by telephone but also by email and webchat.
- Efficient case management, actioning outstanding queries and e-mails in a timely manner, while ensuring that the customer is always kept informed. Keep accurate records of all customer interactions in the case notes.
- Deal directly with suppliers and carriers to ensure problems are rectified as swiftly as possible with little impact to the customer.
- Order processing when required to support the Inbound Sales team.
- Any ad hoc duties as required.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills, taking in the region of 40 calls a day
- Ability to work under pressure with an ever-changing workload
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Good team player
- Attention to detail, accuracy and flexibility to provide a professional customer service
- Take initiative and ownership of customer problems
