Customer Service Administrator - Plant-Ex Ingredients Ltd : Job Details

Based in Avonmouth, Plant-Ex ingredients is an international company specialising in the manufacture of Natural Food Ingredient Solutions, supplying across the globe either directly through our own facilities or through a number of selected distribution partners.

We specialise in spray drying food colourings and flavours as well as production of liquid food colours, flavours and extracts.

Due to an ever-expanding organisation and new additional unit, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customer Service Administrator.

The Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for managing all incoming customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring efficient customer service support. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a customer-orientated mindset.

Other duties will include:-

· Dealing with all new incoming orders using the internal database

· Reviewing stock availability for incoming orders

· Confirming with customers when to expect deliveries based on lead times from internal departments

· Liaising with the Production team to schedule orders that need manufacturing

· Act as the first point of contact for any incoming complaints

· Answering the phone; general queries, chasing orders, directing calls to other departments, switchboard

· Chasing the Production team to ensure orders are completed on time

· Working to lead times and advising customers of their confirmation windows

· Ensure customer orders are within our minimum order quantities

· Working closely with the Goods Out team to ensure deliveries are scheduled appropriately, in line with customer expectations

· Liaise with Purchasing to work to timelines for raw materials

· Working proactively to problem solve and identify any issues

· General office administration as required

• Ability to prioritise work & meet deadlines

You will need to be able to reliably commute to Avonmouth.Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday working from 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
