We are looking for individuals who are proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented to provide support and guidance to residents regarding their Tax bills, payments, and account-related matters. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy resolving issues, we’d love to hear from you!

• Serve as the first point of contact for residents via inbound calls related to Council Services, including Tax enquiries.
• Provide clear explanations of Tax bills, payment plans, and account details.
• Set up and manage Direct Debits, payment plans, and other payment options.
• Assist residents with Council Tax-related issues, including arrears, disputes, and exemptions.
• Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience handling enquiries related to Tax billing and recovery.
• Familiarity with revenue systems such as NEC Northgate.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
