Red Recruitment is recruiting remote Customer Service Representatives to work on behalf of an international coffee brand where you will be taking inbound customer calls from both household customers and businesses such as cafes and hotels.
The hourly rate is £12 per hour and this is a full-time, remote-based role, the hours are between 9am - 5pm.
The start date for this position is 21st of October, therefore interviews will be taking place week commencing 7th of October.
Benefits and Package for a Customer Service Representative:
- Salary: £12 per hour
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- You must work 9am - 1pm, 5 days per week
- The remaining 10 hours can be worked between the hours of 8am - 6pm - that choice is flexible for you to decide
- You will also be required to work 2 Saturdays a month but never a Sunday!

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative:
- Providing professional, courteous service to customers to build lasting connections and address their specific needs
- Handling potentially challenging conversations and objections
- Helping customers explore their options, ensuring you stay up to date with new products and offers
- Assisting customers with placing orders, tracking shipments and managing their accounts
- Taking ownership of personal development by gaining customer feedback and being able to receive feedback and recognition
- Ensuring that compliance and the highest level of customer service on every call is being adhered to
Key Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Representative:
- Previous customer service experience with a natural ability to build rapport is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional attitude
- You will need to be IT proficient and if you have previous experience with CRM systems and customer-based software that would be advantageous
- You should have an efficient approach to your workload whilst maintaining customer service and professionalism on every call
- Ideally you will be able to think critically when handling challenging issues
For this role you will be required to have your own equipment, this includes a Windows 10 laptop/PC, a wired headset, keyboard and mouse and a dual screen. Additionally, you will need to have wired Ethernet.
