Job Description :

As a customer service representative, you will be the direct point of contact will all general inbound enquiries on a B2B basis. You will handle project requirements under the requirement of the sales team to streamline cross-departmental communications & external stakeholders. The role will play a large telephony position in engaging with active customers, processing order requirements, inputting invoice enquiries, logging customer calls.

Client Details

The client that we are actively working on behalf of are a large chemicals distributor delivering on a domestic & international field to other third-party consumable manufacturers. The business are undergoing a period of change whereby internal teams will be altered, including the customer service operations, to streamline new customers & recurring business. Based near Denton, the business has undergone a period of growth & has also moved into a new production site.

Description

Key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Assist with managing overdue accounts and ensuring efficient payment processing.
  • Recommend suitable products or services based on customer requirements.
  • Compile product/service reports by collecting and analysing customer data.
  • Handle incoming calls and proactively generate sales leads.
  • Assess and address customer needs to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Foster strong customer relationships through trust, clear communication, and effective problem-solving.
  • Provide accurate and timely information using the appropriate tools and resources.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain call handling efficiency.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally, offering effective solutions and necessary follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update customer records with proper documentation.
  • Adhere to established communication protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and coordinate with Logistics on courier-related matters.

Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer support with a consistent record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Strong phone handling skills, including active listening and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not required.
