Customer Service Sales Support

We are seeking a Customer Service Sales Support professional to join our client's team on a 6-month temporary assignment. The successful candidate will be pivotal in processing customer orders with precision, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high service standards. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive approach, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within 24 hours of receipt.
- Monitor sales orders to ensure delivery deadlines are met, communicating any delays to customers immediately.
- Manage forward orders and back orders by monitoring stock availability and completing purchase orders.
- Log customer interactions and activity accurately within the company’s CRM system and via email.
- Resolve customer queries and issues, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining high service standards.
- Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and update customer information on the internal system, such as addresses, prices, and specific requirements, to ensure accurate completion of orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in CRM/ERP systems being beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and resolve queries effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team while managing individual responsibilities efficiently.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in your own abilities, with a willingness to learn and develop.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- A confident communicator who understands that a positive attitude yields great results.
