Customs Clearance Operator - Noble Recruiting : Job Details

Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Customs Clearance individual to join our friendly and proactive Client in Chelmsford, Essex.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Our client is currently looking for an energetic Customs Clearance Operator to assist in the day-to-day running of the business, such as completing different kinds of customs entries and understanding of various customs queries.

Your responsibilities include:

• Loading jobs in Multifreight when required
• Preparing CDS entries
• Ongoing learning of Customs Regimes/Commodity Codes/CPC Codes
• Handling post-Clearance documents.
• Assisting and preparing for audits for HMRC.

You will need:

• Confident and outgoing individual.
• Knowledge and experience with import/export entries
• Experience with customs software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to organise and multi-task.
• Experience with Far-East Imports desirable but not essential.
• Good time management skills.
• UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
