Customs Clerk - Roadfreight - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

My client are a niche, leading transport company looked for a Customs Clerk to join their expanding team. You must have a minimum of 1 years experience in a customs role or similar.

Daily duties will include:

• Completing roadfreight import and export entries
• Preparing transit documents for internal planning teams as well as port authority references for vehicles
• Promptly respond to customs requests
• Completing internal tracking spreadsheets for invoicing purposes

Experience needed:

• Atleast one years experience in roadfreight customs clearances
• Knowledge of EU TRACES and CHEDP's is beneficial
• Comfortable completing import and export declarations for movements EU/UK and IRL/UK in both directions
• Understanding of transit declarations and proper discharge procedures
• Experience using Thyme-IT would be beneficial but not essential

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 42.5 hours per week between 8am - 7pm
