If so, then read on because we are looking for a Customs and Excise professional to join the NL/BE customs team at one of the world's leading providers of advanced and sustainable plastic and chemical solutions.

The role

Our client, a global chemical powerhouse, is looking for a Customs Manager to become the regional authority on international trade. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee and optimise compliance processes across their entire supply chain in Belgium and the Netherlands.

You'll drive Customs & Trade Excellence by shaping compliance strategies to streamline operations and ensure alignment with international regulations.

You'll be the Go-To Expert in Customs & Excise, acting as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and Trade Authorities alike.

You'll have the chance to demonstrate your expertise in all things excise-related, such as tax and compliance - including sanctions and embargoes; and managing the Preferential Origin Process.

About you

As an experienced customs expert who thrives on complexity and collaboration, you'll need:

• A minimum 6 years of experience in Customs & Excise - AEO experience would be an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Advanced SAP skills
