A prestigious brand is looking to enhance its supply management team by hiring a Customs Specialist to manage customs and undertake customs analysis.

- Salary guide: £31,000 - £32,000 plus a £1,610 lunch allowance per year

Customs Specialist Responsibilities:
- Analyse customs costs, focusing on identifying duty and tax savings
- Ensure all customs are compliant and in line with HMRC regulations
- Undertake regular process reviews to improve customs processes
- Arrange transport for warehouse orders and prepare all dispatch documents including manifests and invoices
- Follow up on all customs clearance and coordinate with customs agents
- Track and report all costs relating to logistics
- Coordinate with the logistics team to support the reconciliation and processing of invoices
Customs Specialist Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of customs and an understanding of supply chain principles would be a distinct advantage
- Analytically minded, with the ability to analyse data and produce insightful reports
- Experience in warehouse logistics would be beneficial
- IT literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and logistics IT systems
- Superb communication skills, able to liaise at all levels
- Strong organisation and time management skills
