Data Analyst - Ecommerce

£35,000 - £40,000

Liverpool - Hybrid -3 day in the office/week

Forward Role are excited to be working with a well-established, forward thinking retail business. The business are data driven, utilising insights to shape strategy and drive decision making.

As the Data Analyst, you will be working within the growing analytics team and collaborating with ecommerce stakeholders, acting as an expert in all thing’s web data – collection, tracking metrics, providing analysis, and delivering actionable insights.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Using a range of analytical techniques, to unearth insights and recommendations for a variety business challenge.
• Delivering regular analysis and reporting to the trading team, understanding trade, sales and product performance.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand goals, identify challenges, and support roadmaps through data-driven recommendations.
• Focus on the commercial impact, quantifying the value of insights to prioritise efforts that deliver significant ROI and business outcomes.
• Enhance analytics capabilities across the business, empowering non-technical colleagues to utilise self-serve options.
• Automate reports and dashboards to improve data accessibility and encourage data-informed decision-making across the business.

Role & Responsibilities

• Experience working in a similar Data Analyst role with Ecommerce / Retail data.
• Experience with BigQuery/SQL
• Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI / Looker
• GA4 experience is ideal, but not essential
• Ability to work with large data sets, writing accurate code and identifying insights
