Data Analyst
- Annual Salary: £38,000 to £45,000 (subject to qualifications and experience)
- Location: Chelmsford, CM1 (Hybrid working available)
- Job Type: Full-time (35 hours per week), Part-time considered (minimum 28 hours per week)

This company is recruiting for a Data Analyst to provide insightful information to support our mission and measure progress. The role involves creating master datasets, developing information dashboards, and identifying areas for further research. This position offers a full-time role with the potential for hybrid and flexible working arrangements, and part-time may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Analyse business processes across departments to determine data interactions and objectives.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive Data Map with corresponding responsibilities and dependencies.
- Identify and implement efficiency and accuracy improvements by integrating data into the DMS.
- Manage the development pipeline for new processes into the DMS, based on value and benefits.
- Oversee the implementation of new database functionality and ensure it meets organisational needs.
- Develop and deliver training to improve operational processes and productivity.
- Inform senior management and key stakeholders of progress in delivering project objectives.
- Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure processes meet expectations and data standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in a related subject or substantial relevant experience.
- Substantial experience as a Data or Business Analyst, with experience in process transformation.
- Highly numerate with a logical and methodical approach.
- Proficiency in presenting complex data clearly.
- Experience in managing and organising data sets from multiple sources.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver insights in accessible formats.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and database knowledge.
- Competent in data mapping tools (i.e. ArcGIS).
